The Common Ground Foundation offer 3 scholarships to active Junior and Senior Dreamer & Believer Mentees. The application for the Ajile Turner Music and Business Scholarship, the Mahalia Ann Hines Educational Scholarship, and the Frank D. Brooks Scholarship opens on the 2nd Monday of January and close on March 1st.  Mentees are welcome to apply for all three scholarships.  Please see the qualification details below.

Ajile Turner Music & Business Scholarship: Recipient(s) will receive between $2,000 – $4,000 per year for four years. Applicants must be a CGF high school senior with a GPA of 2.8 weighted (2.3 unweighted). High school seniors must have a 90% attendance rate at the CGF monthly student sessions. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college/university when applying to receive the scholarship. Applicants must be pursuing a major or minor in music (e.g., Business/Industry/Arts Administration, Composition, Education, General, History, Musicology, Performance, Production, Recording, Technology, Theatre, Theory, Therapy, Acoustics, Commericial/Popular Music, Conducting, Ethnomusicology, Film Scoring, Jazz Studies, Radio Broadcasting/Commuications, Songwriting, Worship Arts). The winner must maintain a 3.0 GPA to receive the award for years two through four.

Frank Brooks Schoalrship: Recipient(s) will receive a one-time payment of $1,000 – $5,000. Applicants must be CGF male high school seniors with a 2.5 or higher GPA. High school seniors must have a 90% attendance at the CGF monthly student sessions. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college/university when applying to receive the scholarship. Applicants must be pursuing a major or minor in business or entrepreneurship. 

Mahalia Ann Hines Educational Scholarship: Recipient(s) will receive $2,500 – $5,000 per year for four years. Applicants must be a CGF high school senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher GPA. High school seniors must have a 90% attendance at the CGF monthly student sessions. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited  2-year or 4-year college/university when applying to receive the scholarship. Applicants must be pursuing a major or minor in education or business. The winner must maintain a 3.0 GPA to receive the award for years two through four.
